## What HomeHealthSync Is (and Is Not)

HomeHealthSync is the **billing and payroll layer** for agencies whose home health company partners already provide the clinical EMR. It is **not a clinical EMR**: it does not do OASIS documentation, PDGM/Medicare claims, EVV, or clinical visit notes, and it never stores clinical paperwork — therapists document in the home health company's own system. Agencies that need to own their own EMR are better served by platforms like TherapySync, WellSky/Kinnser, Axxess, or Homecare Homebase. The billing data HomeHealthSync does handle is fully HIPAA-compliant, with a Business Associate Agreement available.
